For many years now, respect for people and the environment has been one of our strategic objectives. Deldiche is fully committed to food safety and sustainability. However, we produce and sell functional and convenience foods, which are generally sold in plastic packaging. This means we are part of the so-called throwaway economy. Therefore, our plastic packaging consists of at least 90% recycled materials (rPET). Because delivering the best delicacies for everyone is only possible in the long-term if we consider the environment and climate.
Furthermore, we rely on the guidelines and criteria of CO2logic's Taking Climate Action label as a framework for realistic climate action in our company. We are committed to integrating them into our strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations. In doing so, we aim to reduce our climate impact.
Thus, we actively engage in three main objectives:
- Reduce our own emissions as much as possible.
- Work on the evolution of our business model and support our partners in implanting a more carbon-efficient economy.
- Contribute to the global climate transition by financing climate action outside our own value chain.
